Crime in the animal kingdom


The kleptomaniacal stoat
Is ideally attuned to the role
It can slink through an air-vent and note
Inconspicuous routes to it's goal.

But the klepomanical rhino
Has problems in doing his job
You can see it there under the lino
And you know that it's out on the rob.

The glittery jittery eel
Could have made such a wonderful thief
But the jitters will not let it steal:
Just the thought makes it shake like a leaf.

The klepomaniacal chicken,
When out thieving is one lucky pup
(Except that it's poultry) - but nickin'
Won it this year's prized Burglary cup.
